Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are wed. After tying the knot last month, the couple celebrated their marriage this past weekend with close friends and family.
The Afflecks chose a low-key wedding at a chapel in Las Vegas in July, more than 20 years after they got engaged the first time, then enjoyed a lavish celebration at their Georgia estate over the weekend. Of course, Lopez went all out for her wedding attire, donning a number of extremely spectacular outfits.
Ceremony look
The bride wore specially made Ralph Lauren Collection attire to enter the church. The Marry Me star has always turned to Ralph Lauren as a designer. She had three Ralph Lauren outfits in her lineup for the evening, the first of which was her wedding gown for the ceremony. To create an airy rendition of Ralph Lauren’s iconic turtleneck column dress, more than 1,000 handkerchiefs and 500 metres of cloth were trimmed into ruffles. After that, the ruffles were manually joined, resulting in a voluminous, lovely skirt. A cascading ruffle that trailed from the turtleneck’s back to the shoulder was incorporated into the sleeve. A cathedral-length veil further enhanced the drama.
Dress number 2 and 3
After the wedding, guests congregated for a cocktail reception at the residence in all-white attire before proceeding to the barn for dinner, organised by chef Bruce Moffett and Cru Catering. Cake by Minette Rushing Custom Cakes, a dance party hosted by DJ Dubz, and a fireworks show capped out the evening’s events.
The last dress Lopez wore featured silk tulle micro-pleats and more Swarovski crystals. It was a beautiful chandelier pearl dress. People claimed the unique, open-back design required 700 hours of hand embroidery by 30 artists. J.Lo accessorised her pearl dress with an additional $85,000 Mikimoto earrings. She traded the pearls for a pair of $2 million (and counting) 27-carat, one-of-a-kind pear-shaped drop flower marquise earrings from Samer Halimeh for the reception. Three of Lopez’s dresses were all featured in a 60-second film that Ralph Lauren created and released. Even some of the concepts she had sketched out for her wedding outfits are shown in the film.
The Groom’s side
Affleck donned a white Ralph Lauren Couture tuxedo jacket, black pants, and a black bow tie to the ceremony. According to Vogue, all five of Lopez and Affleck’s kids donned clothes from the designer label. Affleck and Lopez’s five children, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, and Lopez’s twins Max and Emme, 14, from a former marriage to Marc Anthony, all wore white Ralph Lauren Couture.
The wedding was held in the couple’s backyard garden with a view of the North Newport River under a custom-built white metal church structure. The building and the neighbouring arches on the aisle’s walkway were decorated with delphiniums.

There was nothing understated about Lopez’s wedding attire, even though the couple’s unexpected Las Vegas wedding had a very low-key and laid-back atmosphere. Lopez was wearing two different costumes during the celebrations in pictures posted on social media by various members of her glam squad. The first dress was a sleeveless white design by Alexander McQueen. Later, Lopez changed into a Zuhair Murad off-the-shoulder lace gown with a fishtail train, corseted bodice, and matching veil. The garment was from a movie in which Lopez starred, which Lopez revealed to her subscribers in her newsletter.
